Summer Events for College Folks

Things slow down for our college-age ministries at SCPC, and for WPF. But there are still a few good things going on.  If you are interested in receiving announcements for Summer events, you can join our summer events listserve (which is different than the regular WPF listserve). 

Here is what's going on!:

Thursday, May 29:  WPF Brainfreeze at Meyer Dairy!  We leave the Church parking lot at 7:00 pm

Sunday, June 8:  WPF Hike with Lunch following worship

Friday, June 20:  Host Centre House Dinner (we need 2-4 folks to volunteer)

Tuesday, July 22:  WPF joins SCPC For the Annual Church Picnic at Tussey Mt. from 5-7:00 pm

Board Members for the next school year are listed below.  If you have any questions or ideas about the upcoming semesters, please contact Bethany (WPF President) and/or Diana (Advisor).  We're excited about our upcoming events and group offerings, including ecumenical gatherings with our Lutheran and Episcopal friends on campus, mission opportunities in the community, on campus, and church (SCPC) events.

Habitat for Humanity House -- Summer Volunteer Opportunities

Each week this summer there will be a work-team at the SCPC Habitat House.  If you're interested in volunteering for a day (Wednesdays through Saturdays), contact the SCPC Habitat Crew who will get you hooked up with the team for that week.  Click here to learn more about the Habitat House Project.

Westminster Presbyterian Fellowship (WPF) is the Penn State student organization associated with State College Presbyterian Church. WPF events and ministries enable you to attend to your spiritual growth while participating in worship, mission and faithful, fun fellowship. Our programs are for undergraduate and graduate students.
