LOGOS Hosts Roller Skating Party -- Tuesday, January 3rd!

Come to Penn Skates Roller RInk (on the street across from the University Park Airport).   We will skate from 6:00-8:00 pm.  Bring $2.00 for skate rental, unless you have your own skates.  Admission fee is on LOGOS!

Cookies and water are provided.

This event is hosted by LOGOS, but all families of the church with children or youth are invited to attend.  Pass the word along!

Regular LOGOS meetings resume on January 10

People ask us all the time ... "Can we join LOGOS anytime?"  The answer is YES !  The Registration and Health Release/Forms are available online (click on the links below). There are, once again, separate forms (Registration and Health/Release).   You can print out the forms, fill them out at home, and mail them to the church office with a check, or hand deliver them if you'd like.  As always, anyone interested in joining LOGOS during the year can register your child(ren) for LOGOS by contacting the LOGOS Director.

LOGOS meets on Tuesdays, from mid September through mid April.

GECKOS* children start at 3:45 pm and Chrysalis kids begin with (optional) Cocoon Time from 3:45 -5:00 pm and regular Chrysalis activities starting at 5:00 pm.  Don't miss out on any of the fun!  GECKOS* is the name for our 1st - 5th Grades, and Chrysalis is the name of our Middle School portion ... all within the LOGOS program.  (* GECKOS stands for "God's Enthusiastic Caring Kids of Spirit")

Logos/Chrysalis is a mid-week program for children in 1st through 8th grades.

 

Our Program

We study God's word every week, but that's not all. In addition to studying God's word,we practice living out God's word on each other. We practice treating everyone as a child of God as we have a meal together, as we play games or make neat stuff together, and as we work together to lead worship as a choir. We're all children of God, young and old, and we treat each other that way.

LOGOS/Chrysalis Quick Facts

Who: Children and youth in Grades 1st through 8th
What: Four part program of Christian nurture including: 1) Bible Study, 2) Worship Skills, 3) Recreation/Activities, and 4) Dinner.
Where: State College Presbyterian Church, 132 W. Beaver Ave.
