Sunday School News
Summer Sunday School begins on June 15 for those ages 4 through those who have completed 2nd grade.
Regular Sunday School for the 2008-2009 Year begins September 7.
Our Program
Each Sunday we offer classes for Preschoolers through High School students. We are presently using “We Believe” Curriculum (PCUSA) for our children up through Grade 3. Children and youth and teachers are always on a faith adventure as they learn about the Bible and our faith traditions in the Presbyterian Church. Together they will explore the Bible and it’s stories, as well as, “What does it mean to live in covenant with God and one another?”
Our older elementary children spend a year focusing on the Old Testament in 4th Grade, and the next year on the New Testament. They use the PCUSA "Covenant People" curriculum.
Our middle school and high school students study varied topics of faith issues, the Bible, and the Presbyterian Church. What they are studying at any given time depends on the expertise of the leaders and what is currently in the news.

The Sunday School Classes start at 10 AM. Children who go to a program, such as Creative Movement and Music or Children and Worship, are taken directly to their Sunday School classes by the teachers. Children in 3rd Grade and older should leave worship and go directly to their classes.
This year in our Sunday School Classes we may only have weekly snack in the youngest classes. Snacks may be offered monthly in the older classes, but it all depends on parental involvement.
Parents are encouraged to sign up on snack sheets outside the Sunday School rooms.
