Taize Services
There will be NO TAIZE SERVICE on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 25 (the day before Thanksgiving)
Mid-week Taize Services are held each Wednesday at 5:00 pm in the Martin Room. We invite you to join us for a service of song, silence, and mediation. Songbooks are available to help learn the songs and music.
All are welcome.
Taize services combine simple, repetitive songs and extended silence to create an opportunity for contemplative prayer. In addition to our service on Wednesdays, two other churches in our community offer regular services on consecutive Sunday evenings: University Mennonite Church (1606 Norma St.) at 6:00 pm on the first Sunday of the month, and the University Baptist and Brethren Church (411 S. Burrowes St.) at 6:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month.
