Our Story

Founded in 1986, Stay and Play Preschool has been a trusted part of the State College community for nearly four decades. Our mission is simple: to provide a preschool and childcare program where children and adults feel loved, supported, and empowered in an atmosphere of compassion, respect, and trust.
Every child who walks through our doors is recognized as a unique creation of God, celebrated for their individuality and nurtured to grow in their own way.
Located within the educational wing of State College Presbyterian Church at 132 W. Beaver Avenue and Fraser Street, our facility is designed to inspire creativity and comfort. Whether your child is learning, playing, or exploring, they’re surrounded by care, faith, and encouragement every step of the way.
