At State College Presbyterian Church, we partner with parents to nurture their child’s faith journey! Our Sunday School and Worship Programs engage children of all ages.
Childcare is available each Sunday morning from 9:00 am to 11:30 am in Room 101 for children age three and younger who are not yet participating in the Pathways program. Childcare is provided by our paid caregivers.
Children age three through 2nd grade are invited to participate in this special worship time following the Children’s Message. Children, Worship & Song takes place on the lower level in Room 11, where volunteers lead children in Godly Play stories, creative movement, and music.
Children who remain in worship are welcome to use the children’s bulletins or worship bags available during the service.
At 10:30 am, children participating in Children’s Worship & Song are taken to their respective Pathways classes.
Following worship, children are invited to participate in Pathways during the Exploration Hour. Our classes use the Growing in Grace & Gratitude curriculum from the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and are led by dedicated volunteers.
Younger Children: Age 3 through Grade 1 — Room 209
Older Children: Grades 2–5 — Room 210
