At Stay and Play, Every Day is an Adventure!

For nearly 40 years, families have trusted Stay and Play Preschool to provide a nurturing, play-based environment where children grow, explore, and thrive. Our programs are designed to encourage social, emotional, and academic development — all through hands-on discovery and imagination.
Whether your child is taking their first steps away from home or preparing for kindergarten, we have a class that fits their needs, schedule, and developmental stage.

Darling Deer

Ready, Set, Play!

Ages: 1–2 years (must turn one by Aug. 31)

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Days: Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday

Class Size: 9 children with a teacher and assistant

The Darling Deer Room is all about discovery and comfort. Children begin developing trust, independence, and a love for learning through stories, play, and music. Activities promote fine and gross motor development, language skills, and socialization.

Focus on early communication, coordination, and creativity

Daily stories, songs, and movement activities

Indoor playground time and weekly music sessions (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

No potty training required

Terrific Turtles

ABCs, 123s, & More!

Ages: 2 years (must turn two by Aug. 31)

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Days: Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday

Class Size: 9 children with a teacher and assistant

In the Terrific Turtles Room, children build independence and learn to engage with peers through imaginative play and hands-on activities. From circle time to creative crafts, every day brings new opportunities to learn and laugh.

Daily free play and guided learning centers

Arts, crafts, and dramatic play

Music class twice a week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

No potty training required

Wonderful Wolves

Learning Through Play and Imagination!

Ages: 3 years (must turn three by Aug. 31)

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Days: Monday/Wednesday/Friday, Tuesday/Thursday, or full 5-day option

Class Size: 14 children with a degreed teacher and assistant

The Wonderful Wolves class blends structure and creativity. Children learn preschool readiness skills — letters, numbers, and teamwork — through a theme-based curriculum that keeps them engaged and curious.

Arts & crafts, cooking, dramatic play, and learning centers

Field trips and weekly music classes

Daily indoor playground time

Children should wear a pull-up or be potty-trained

Rainbow Raccoons

5-4-3-2-1... Blast Off to Preschool!

Ages: 4 years (must turn four by Aug. 31 and be potty trained)

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Days: 4 or 5 days per week

Class Size: 15 children with a degreed teacher and assistant

Rainbow Raccoons are our pre-kindergarten explorers! This class helps children build the academic and social foundations they’ll carry into kindergarten and beyond.

Play-based, hands-on curriculum focused on literacy, math, art, and science

Music twice a week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

Indoor and outdoor gross motor activities

Adventure Afternoons

Where Curiosity Continues!

Ages: 3–5 years (must be enrolled in a morning program)

Time: 12:00 PM – 2:45 PM

Cost (2026–27): $22 per afternoon (permanent day enrollment)

Extend your child’s day with enriching activities and joyful exploration. Adventure Afternoons include:

Lunch (brought from home)

Baking, arts and crafts, music, and fitness

Library visits and special guests

TUMBLEBUS Mondays!
