At State College Presbyterian Church, we value partnering with parents and families as youth grow in faith. Our programs offer opportunities for middle and high school students to build relationships, ask questions, explore their faith, and stay connected to the church community.
On Sunday mornings, middle and high school youth are invited to participate in Oasis, our Sunday morning faith formation program.
During the week, high school students can also take part in FISH, our midweek high school youth group.
From September through May, our middle and high school youth gather each Sunday morning in the Fireside Room following worship for Oasis. This time together includes fellowship, meaningful discussion, and opportunities to explore faith in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Oasis is led by dedicated volunteer teachers who help guide conversation, encourage questions, and support our youth as they grow in faith and in relationship with one another.
FISH is our vibrant high school youth ministry—a place where teens can be themselves, ask honest questions, build meaningful relationships, and experience the unconditional love of God.
On selected Thursday nights from 6:00–8:00 PM, FISH gathers for laughter, learning, and life together. Through meaningful conversations, fun activities, mission projects, retreats, and time spent together, youth have the opportunity to connect with one another and grow in their faith.
FISH is a welcoming community for our high school youth and their friends, helping teens grow as disciples of Christ while navigating the real joys and challenges of the teenage years.
High schoolers are invited to grow in leadership through the LIT program. Our LIT’s work alongside adults in areas such as Children, Worship, & Song, Pathways, Summer Pathways, and for our LOGOS mid-week ministry.
