About Stay and Play

Founded in 1986, Stay and Play provides a preschool and childcare program where both children and adults feel loved, supported and empowered in an environment of compassion, respect and trust.  Each child at Stay and Play is treated as a unique creation and is nurtured in his/her diversity and individuality.  We occupy rooms in the educational wing of the church complex located at 132 W. Beaver Avenue and Fraser Street.  We are licensed by the Department of Human Services and are a PA Keystone STARS program.  We are a play-based program with the multiple options of educational equipment and the finest supplies.  Our indoor playground and equipment are used by the children, rain or shine!

"Stay and Play is a truly awesome pre-school that my children have attended for years (kids are now 9, 7, and 3).  The staff and Stay & Play community are very welcoming, trustworthy and loving. I know when I leave my kids at school that they feel loved and cared for and will learn important social, emotional, and academic skills. My 3 year old comes out bouncing with excitement after a day at Stay and Play so I know she’s having a great time!
The teachers also do an amazing job of communicating the days events home through pictures, slips and regular conversation. The staff has also done an amazing job adjusting to the challenges of pre-school during Covid and I feel that my family is safe going to school there.
