Composting and Recycling
Composting at SCPC
Since April 2014, State College Presbyterian Church began composting food waste and other biodegradable material like paper towels and napkins (uncoated/nonshiny paper waste) with the State College Borough’s Commercial Program.
We recognize the impacts associated with our actions and are making a conscious effort to care more fully for God’s creation. By putting all food and paper waste into a more sustainable part of the solid waste stream, we intend to do our part to be stewards of God’s gift of the natural world.
Wondering what you're able to put in borough compost (at SCPC and throughout the borough)? Check this out: What can be COMPOSTED at SCPC
