FISH for Senior High Youth
SCPC has programs for children and youth of all ages!
Our LOGOS program is divided into two groups ~elementary age (called GECKOS - grades 1-5) and middle school (called Chrysalis - grades 6-8).
Our Senior High Youth Group is called FISH (Fellowship In Senior High). FISH is open to all high-schoolers within the wider community. and meets on Wednesday nights during the school year.
The LOGOS Program is winding down for the year - stay tuned for information about LOGOS 2023-2024!
Any questions, please contact Deannine Shipman (814-238-2422).
The Tuesday schedule is:
Tuesday Drop Off Procedures for LOGOS-GECKOS
4:00 pm - 4:15 pm
We have an efficient drop off plan - mostly due to limited parking
At the end of the program evening, GECKO (7:00 pm) parents will need to come into the Social Hall to pick up their children.
CHRYSALIS youth often arrive at different times and can sit in Cocoon Time, but hopefully all are here by 5:15 pm. At the end of the evening, Chrysalis parents should wait in the downstairs hallway when picking up their youth at 8:00 pm.

FISH (Fellowship In Senior High)
FISH, our mid-week ministry for high schoolers meets on Wednesday evenings, and "the OASIS" is on Sunday mornings. FISH continues to be a place of belonging, fun, and meaning-making for our Sr. High youth. Our evening begins with dinner at 6:00 pm in the SCPC Social Hall and then we break out into small groups for program and discussion.
Our Director of Youth Ministry, Reed Dressler, oversees the program.
Leader In Training (LIT) Volunteer Opportunities
High Schoolers who are interested in participating in the SCPC Youth Ministries are invited to apply to volunteer as a LOGOS Leader In Training (LIT). As LITs, youth have the opportunity to volunteer, working alongside adult leaders in the church as part of a particular LOGOS Leadership Team to facilitate ministry. GECKOS is the 1st-5th grade group, while Chrysalis is for middle-schoolers. Go here for a Leader In Training Application.
