Sunday Childcare is Available in Room 101 
Childcare is available for children up through three-year-olds (who are not yet in PATHWAYS)  in Room 101.

Childcare time will be a caring time for stories, play, and music.  Parents should leave their cell phone numbers with the caregivers so they can be reached if there is a need.

The Director of Education and Program, Deannine Shipman, hires caregivers to staff our childcare rooms on Sundays and for special programs.  All volunteers and paid workers must have the required Pennsylvania Clearances. 

Nursery and Toddler Room Policies

• We will provide warm, loving care to each child in the nursery and toddler rooms
• You should sign your child IN and write down your location in the building each time you leave your child with us
• Our rooms are designed for specific age ranges so that toys are appropriate, and that our children are safe
• We prefer to have the parents instead of siblings pick up the children
• Clearly mark your diaper bag and bottles, pacifiers, etc.
• Only children free of bad colds, fever and diarrhea should come to church!
• Childcare workers are usually on the floors playing with children
• We will come get you if your child becomes ill, gets hurt, or if after a reasonable amount of time, does not stop crying
• All plastic and stuffed toys are washed regularly
• We will change diapers as needed.  Parents should supply diapers/wipes.  The changing tables are cleaned after each use, and all caregivers wash their hands after diapering each baby/child​
• Parents are always welcome to stay in the room if you would like to be with your child or assist us in any way
• Our rooms are PEANUT-FREE so please refrain from sending in snacks that have peanuts in them.  Thanks!
