​Young at Heart is a fellowship group for persons age 55 and older (i.d. not required).  The group meets monthly, usually on the 2nd Friday of the month, for a pot-luck dinner followed by a program.  All who are “young at heart” are invited.  Just bring a covered dish and your own table service and enjoy an evening of fellowship.  It is a great way to meet other church members and make new friends.

Young at Heart Will Resume Meeting When it is Safe to Do So - 
Young at Heart is a potluck supper and program fellowship group for those SCPC folk who are “young at heart” although not so young in years. In previous years the group met one Friday evening a month from September to June. During this time of Covid crisis it is unwise for us to gather indoors to share food and possibly virus. As of now we don't know when it might be safe to make plans; for that reason, Young at Heart will be suspended at least for the fall and maybe for the whole year. If the pandemic situation dramatically improves so we feel we can safely meet for a meal, program and fellowship we will make an announcement.

Please take care of yourselves and we hope to gather as soon as it’s safe to do so.

The Details ...
Young at Heart draws most of its attendees from the 55+ community, but whether you’re 55+ or not, you’re invited.  There is time for fellowship, dinner and programming. The evening begins as we gather about 5:00 in the Social Hall for conversation over coffee/tea while you set up your things for the potluck supper.  Bring a main course, salad, side or dessert to share (your choice), 2 utensils to serve it, and your own table service plus a name tag.  Your own table service means: dinner/dessert plate (s), silverware, cup(s) for water/coffee/tea and a napkin.  The potluck buffet starts at 5:30 and the program follows, usually about 6:30 pm.  We are typically out about 7:30 pm.
